Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities:

● Ensure all load details are entered accurately in our system
● Book reasonable appointments for pick up and delivery to ensure that we meet customer expectations
● Update our system with any changes to shipment details as they happen in real time
● Monitor the movement of all shipments to track in relation to set pickup and delivery times
● Coordinate with logistics planners to determine ETAs for all shipments
● Monitor reefer temperatures to ensure compliance with customer expectations
● Revise appointment times based on findings from track and trace efforts
● Send daily email updates to customers on the status of all shipments
● Provide immediate updates regarding early or delayed shipments
● Answer phone and email inquiries from customers in a timely manner
● Answer phone calls in a courteous and timely manner
● Check all written correspondence for accuracy in spelling and grammar
● Handle any conflict in a calm, courteous, and diplomatic manner
● Order and maintain coffee supply
● Coordinate town halls and driver meetings including assisting with the ordering of lunch and break food for meetings and arranging coffee for meetings

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

● Experience in the transportation industry would be an asset
● Previous experience in a similar role
● Strong customer service skills and a customer first attitude
● Excellent written and verbal communication
● Excellent interpersonal skills
● Professional
● Proficient with computers and various software programs including G-Suite, database software, and our in-house
● truck management software
● High attention to detail
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary

$40,000 - $50,000 per year
